Recurring chess tournaments in Tashkent 6

The tournament year in Tashkent is set by the federation and the academies. The Agzamov Memorial, an international rated open in Open A and Open B sections, is played every March, and its 2024 regulations name the International Chess Academy as the venue. The UzChess Cup gathers Masters, Challengers, Futures and Open sections each June. Seasonal opens named after the time of year, such as Toshkent Yozi (Tashkent Summer), are played in lettered groups; the page cited for them records a summer edition in 2025.

Academies run series of their own: City Chess has numbered its Rapid City Chess events up to the hundred and seventieth. The Zakovat Gambit played its 2025 finals in sections A to E after a qualifying day, and the British School of Tashkent holds a yearly charity tournament for school pupils. Each tile gives the date of the newest edition its pages show; dates given ahead of time are printed as their notices give them.
